Dubai, 20 December 2020: In efforts to promote healthy living and an active lifestyle among its communities, Dubai Festival City, Al-Futtaim Group Real Estate’s fully integrated destination, has partnered with IFA Football Academy to offer world-class football services at Al Areesh Club, the destination’s community club family-friendly sports and social destination. IFA provision will include junior training sessions, holiday camps and games in addition to managing the newly refurbished 4G FIFA approved artificial football facility in Al Areesh Club.
To kick off this partnership, IFA are offering Winter Football Camps for children aged between 6 and 14, a great opportunity to keep active throughout the holiday period. Starting from 13th until 31st December 2020, the Winter Football Camps will be run by UEFA qualified coaches.
Each day of the camp focuses on a different aspect of football with themes such as ‘Stay On The Ball’, ‘Control Possession’, ‘Take Your Chance’ and ‘Win The Ball’. Players have the chance to test their skills in structured mini tournaments, undertake a series of skills challenges and receive comprehensive performance reviews at the end of the week to understand their progress. The camps are open Sunday to Thursday from 9 am to 12 pm with prices rates starting AED 125 per class or AED 500 per week. For the safety of all participating members, strict safety measures will be implemented in-line with the current guidelines set by the authorities.

Launched in 2004 in Dubai and with the goal of improving the efficiency and effectiveness of sports services, IFA has successfully delivered coaching, leagues, playing facilities and more to over 10,000 players in this time, with over 1,000 children playing in their academies or leagues.

In addition to the Winter Football Camps, IFA will launch the second term of their award-winning junior football coaching programme in Jan 2021.
Al-Futtaim Group Real Estate will also be introducing Speedo Swim sessions  during the same holiday period, which will be available at Al Areesh Club Sunday to Thursday from 3 pm to 7 pm at rates starting AED 100 per class or AED 475 per week.
