Dubai, United Arab Emirates, February 4, 2018: Food lovers across Dubai are in for a special treat as Dubai Festival City, Al-Futtaim Group Real Estate’s fully integrated mega project, has pulled out all the stops to provide a gastronomical adventure across its retail, residential and hospitality destinations during Dubai Food Festival.
Dubai Festival City Mall will turn into a foodie’s paradise with the popular five-week long Festival of Flavours from the 7th of February until the 10th of March filled with special offers, instant prizes at over 75 different restaurants and cafes.
Introduced for the first time this year is the Organic Souk at Dubai Festival City where visitors can enjoy a diverse selection of the freshest organic local produce, daily picked and ready for purchase.
The Organic Souk at Dubai Festival City takes place at Marsa Plaza Creek every Saturday between 8am to 2pm, and is being held in collaboration with The Farm House. Visitors can also spend a fun-filled day with entertainment and activities for all ages to enjoy. For the little ones, there will be an edutainment area featuring a mini petting zoo with a variety of farm animals including ducks, chickens and rabbits and a number of food stalls serving a variety of titbits.
Combining the love of food with literature, in commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the Emirates Airlines Festival of Literature, InterContinental Dubai Festival City will be holding literary lunches with famous chefs – Madhur Jaffrey and Ken Hom.
Coming very soon is, The Fish House at InterContinental Dubai Festival City which is sure to be a favourite for seafood fanatics. Inspired by local heritage and the simplicity of diligently sourcing the freshest produce, the restaurant prides itself on delivering an authentic dining experience, accompanied by a social and warm atmosphere. By catering to individual palettes, guests can enjoy an assortment of the daily catches that are personalised and cooked to suit all tastes.
